Biography:

Lucinda Gerlitz is a retired computer programmer living in Manchester, TN. She collects antique and modern etiquette books and writes award-winning cozy mysteries featuring an etiquette-teacher sleuth. When she’s not looking up fun and funky tips on proper decorum to drop into her newsletter, she can usually be found plotting new murders or chasing after her two completely unmannerly kittens.

Lucinda's debut novel, Manners or Mayhem, won the 2023 Killer Nashville Claymore Award for Best Cozy Mystery. She has also been a finalist in the Minotaur Books/Malice Domestic Best First Traditional Mystery Novel Competition. Lucinda has written user manuals for IBM and has had essays published in newspapers and online. She is a member of Sisters in Crime, the Atlanta Writers Club, the Authors Guild, and the Coffee County Writers Group.
